Eastern University Online

Eastern University is a private Christian school with a main campus in St. Davids, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia. There are also Eastern campuses or programs affiliated with Eastern in three other location in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Valley Forge) as well as in Ripley, WV and Rwanda. The university has nearly 4,300 students and is known for integrating faith, reason, and justice. Eastern is affiliated with the American Baptist Church. The university offers one online associate’s degree, three online bachelor’s degrees, 10 online master’s degrees, and three online doctoral degrees. The online degree offering includes fields such as leadership, business, education, urban studies, therapy, and youth ministry. While the school does not have 24 hour a day, seven day a week technology support for online students, online instructors are expected to respond to inquiries within 24 hours. Tuition for online undergraduate degrees starts at $510 per credit. Online graduate tuition starts at $650 per credit. The U.S. News and World Report ranks Eastern University #127 on the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs list and #98 on the Regional Universities (North) list. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education provides accreditation for Eastern University.
